I. Job Summary

Safely operates a heavy-duty truck on transfer routes.

II. Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle per OSHA, DOT, local, state, federal, and company requirements; maintain a clean, safe vehicle.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections using DVIR; note issues for repair.
• Report unsafe situations or service calls before attempting service.
• Participate in training, briefings, and meetings.
• Work with Route Managers to improve routes and address issues.
• Perform scheduled duties, assist other drivers as needed.
• Report incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage.
• Notify about issues like blocked containers or missed pickups.
• Communicate customer requests or issues.
• Ensure containers are dumped properly, clean, and correctly positioned.
• Complete route documentation and check-in procedures.

III. Supervisory Responsibilities

This job has no supervisory duties.

IV. Qualifications

Education: None required.

Experience: No prior work experience required.

Licenses: Commercial Driver's License B (CDL).

Must be 18 years or older, pass pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and have an acceptable driving record.
