We are seeking a skilled and reliable CDL A Truck Driver / Yard Jockey in Battle Creek, MI to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for exercising safe and efficient practices when operating equipment, adhering to all federal and state driving regulations. You will play a crucial role in ensuring timely moves and service to our customers and team. At Lazer, we are driven to achieve!

• $24.00 Per Hour PLUS $1 Shift Differential
• Overtime after 40 Hours

Responsibilities and Requirements

• Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks and trailers, in compliance with all CDL regulations and Lazer's guidelines.
• Transport trailers to and from designated locations in a timely and safe manner.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety.
• Adhere to all safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Handle equipment and products properly, ensuring quality service.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members; maintain accurate logs.

Qualifications

• Valid Commercial Driver's License Class A.
• Proven experience as a CDL A driver with a satisfactory MVR record.
• Current DOT Physical and Medical Card.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and industry truck driving rules.
• Ability to handle long hours and various weather conditions.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Physical ability to get in and out of the truck multiple times per shift.
