Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking a safety-conscious driver to operate commercial vehicles for comprehensive garbage and recycling collection services in Orlando, FL. Responsibilities include route execution, on-road safety, and accurate paperwork.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Garbage/recycling experience is preferred.
• Class B CDL is required.
• Ability to lift or carry heavy objects as necessary.
• Must meet DOT qualifications.
• Clearinghouse profile is required.
• Substance abuse testing is a requirement for onboarding and ongoing employment.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre/post-trip inspection of the commercial vehicle as per FCC regulations.
• Operates assigned routes safely on roads, residential areas and alleys.
• Manages vehicle controls and joystick operations in line with safety procedures.
• Engages professionally with customers, dispatchers and coworkers to ensure timely service.
• Maintains vehicle readiness to minimize downtime.
• Completes necessary paperwork and reports accurately.
• Keeps productivity standards to ensure clients are serviced on time.
• Follows all safety regulations and procedures.
