Job summary

Waste Management is seeking a CDL-qualified driver/operator for on-site duties in Ault, CO. The role involves operating heavy-duty trucks with various load attachments, transporting materials to disposal, transfer, or recycle facilities, and performing routine vehicle inspections.

Responsibilities include safe operation per OSHA/DOT rules, pre/post-trip DVIR checks, and accurate end-of-day reporting. A strong emphasis on safety, customer service, and teamwork is expected.

Qualifications

• CDL required (A with air-brake or B with air-brake)
• 1 year CDL driving experience or equivalent military driving
• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Able to read, write and speak English to interact with the public and complete records

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks per safety rules and regulations
• Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document checks (DVIR)
• Report unsafe conditions or service issues immediately
• Complete end-of-day documentation and adhere to route assignments
• Assist other drivers as needed to meet customer needs
