Job summary

Waste Management is hiring a CDL-driven Driver to operate heavy-duty trucks serving residential, commercial, and roll-off routes in Sioux City, IA. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections, ensure safe operation under DOT rules, and deliver waste and recyclables to designated facilities.

This role emphasizes safety, timely pickups, accurate documentation, and coordination with Dispatch to maintain efficient routes.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with air-brake endorsement required.
• English language ability to interact with the public and complete records.
• Pre-employment screening including drug screen and physical.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks per WM safety rules and DOT requirements.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and document checks.
• Report unsafe situations to supervisor and dispatch promptly.
• Attend required trainings and follow route manager guidance.
• Complete end-of-day documentation and checkout process.
• Assist other drivers to meet customer needs as directed.
