Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Must have experience driving tractor-trailers 48’–57’ dry vans or 42’ tanks.
• Ability to read and write in English and perform basic math.
• Knowledge of DOT and state driving regulations and safety.
• Ability to complete and handle shipping paperwork accurately.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently transport freight by operating tractor-trailer combinations.
• Hook and unhook trailers and manage dolly positioning.
• Load and unload with or without assistance and with/without equipment.
• Perform fueling tasks and handle freight handling.
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips and submit condition reports.
• Maintain required logs and fuel/mileage records for compliance.
• Ensure proper bills of lading and delivery paperwork.
• Report accidents and hazards to dispatch promptly.
• Adhere to schedules and communicate delays or issues.
