You will load, unload, and document shipments, comply with federal and state regulations, and coordinate with dispatch for timely delivery. The role requires a valid CDL with the ability to drive manual transmissions, a doubles/triples endorsement, English literacy, and willingness to be away from home for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid CDL license.
• Doubles/Triples endorsement required.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred, not required.
• Must read and write English and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to drive manual transmission (10/15 speed).
• Must be available for around-the-clock trips and away from home for extended periods.
• Must meet medical standards of the U.S. DOT.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport and deliver freight using tractor-trailer combinations.
• Hook and unhook trailers; position dollies; operate landing gear and converter dollies as needed.
• Load and unload trailers, with or without dock assistance; operate fueling tasks.
• Maintain required records and comply with State and Federal regulations.
• Report delays, accidents, and safety hazards to dispatch promptly.
