Job summary

Wegmans Food Markets in the United States is seeking a CDL-A truck driver to perform timely, safe deliveries to Wegmans stores. You’ll operate 2020+ equipment with the latest safety technologies, including forward cameras and ELD systems.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license and 1 year CDL A tractor-trailer driving experience required.
• Must be at least 21 with a clean driving record in the last 3 years.
• No reckless driving or drug/alcohol violations in the last 7 years.
• Read and speak English sufficiently to converse with the public and understand highway signs.
• Employment contingent upon drug test, DOT test, DOT physical, background check and verifications.

Responsibilities

• Deliver to Wegmans stores on time and safely with modern equipment.
• Operate top-of-the-line 2020+ equipment with safety technologies.
• Maintain timely, efficient deliveries and no-touch routes when possible.

Requirements

• CDL-A License and 1 year of CDL Class A Tractor Trailer driving experience required
• Pursuant to DOT, this position requires the candidate to “read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and record”.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age and have a clean driver’s abstract with no moving violations in the last 3 years, and no reckless driving or drug/alcohol violations in the last 7 years
• Employment as a driver at Wegmans is contingent upon completion and our evaluation of a drug test, DOT drug test, DOT physical, background check, employment verification, driver's abstract/PSP review, as well as a skills evaluation
