Job summary

Richards Building Supply Co. is seeking a CDL Class B Driver for our Champaign, IL location to safely deliver products to job sites and manage warehouse tasks. The role emphasizes on-site customer service and careful handling of materials.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license with Air Brake Endorsement or CDL Class A license.
• 1 year CDL Class B driving experience or 2 years CDL Class A experience.
• Moffett and/or knuckleboom/crane operating experience preferred.
• OSHA certified crane experience highly desired.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be at least 23 years old.
• Heavy lifting experience.
• Background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen required.
• Must be able to lift 50–100 lbs. and occasionally more.

Responsibilities

• Safely deliver products to job sites.
• Physically unload material per the customer's request.
• Receive materials in the warehouse, load trucks, and process inventory.
• Unload shingles on one‑ and two‑story homes.
• Load trucks with material scheduled for the day’s deliveries, complying with DOT regulations on weight limits and securing.
• Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B license with Air Brake Endorsement, or CDL Class A license.
• 1 year CDL Class B delivery driving experience, or 2 years CDL Class A driving experience.
