Job summary

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently seeking a CDL Class B Driver for our Kaiser, MO location. Candidates may hold CDL Class B or Class A with Air Brake endorsement for local deliveries.

Your duties include delivering to job sites, unloading material, receiving goods in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory. This is local driving with home daily, a stable schedule, overtime potential, and opportunities to learn knuckleboom and crane operation.

Qualifications

• CDL with Air Brake endorsement required.
• 1 year B driving experience or 2 years A driving experience.
• Flatbed, knuckleboom, moffett experience preferred.
• Crane and ladder vault experience preferred.
• Ability to drive a manual transmission.
• Current DOT medical card.
• Clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Heavy lifting experience required.
• Background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver products to job sites and unload as requested.
• Receive materials in the warehouse and process inventory.
• Load trucks for daily deliveries and secure loads per DOT rules.
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at the warehouse.
• Move materials to designated areas as needed.

Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a CDL Class B Driver for our Kaiser, MO location. Candidates may have either a CDL Class A or CDL Class B license with Air Brake Endorsement.

Responsibilities

Our delivery drivers are responsible for safely delivering products to the job site, physically unloading material per the customer's request, receiving materials in the warehouse, loading trucks, and processing inventory.

This job entails local driving only, so you will be home daily.

Opportunity to learn industry equipment such as a knuckleboom and a crane.

Requirements

• Driver assistant riding with you will perform: continually lift 50‑100 lbs of material throughout the day; some lifting over 100 lbs required.
• Deliveries will include unloading shingles on one‑ and two‑story homes.
• Loading trucks with material scheduled for the day's deliveries within compliance of securing and distributing weight limits according to DOT regulations.
• Unloading trucks and receiving merchandise at warehouse.
• Move materials and items from receiving to its designated area.
