Job summary

Asplundh is seeking a Trimmer/Climber in Indiana. This full-time, non-exempt role involves trimming trees, operating heavy equipment, and ensuring safety around work sites. CDL is required; pre-employment screenings may apply. Benefits vary by position and location.

The candidate must be able to work at heights, climb ladders, and handle physically demanding tasks under varying weather conditions. Training and supervision support are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to perform physically demanding work.
• High school diploma preferred; entry-level role with opportunity to gain experience.
• Valid CDL is required for duties involving vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees and branches, including trunk sections.
• Operates and services all required tools and equipment.
• Loads and unloads trucks and feeds brush into wood chipper.
• Safeguards employees and the public from hazards in the work area.
• Keeps trucks and work area clean and orderly; assists training new employees.
• Possesses ability to communicate and coordinate with customers and departments.
