Job summary

MTM Transit, in partnership with the City of Tracy, is seeking Full Time CDL Drivers to join our Tracy, California team. Training classes start every couple of weeks—no need to wait to begin a rewarding career.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• Must possess a valid California Class B CDL with air brake and passenger endorsements.
• No more than 6 points on driving record in last 4 years.
• No misdemeanor convictions.
• No DWI/DUI convictions.
• No failure to appear charges.
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug/alcohol screening.
• Must pass criminal background and MVR check.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and reliable transportation.
• Demonstrate defensive driving skills.
• Provide excellent customer service to stakeholders.
• Assist with passenger loading and unloading.
• Assist with mobility devices and securement for safety.
• Ensure on-time pickup and drop-off of customers.
• Be sensitive to needs of older adults and individuals with disabilities.
• Complete pre-trip, post-trip, and DVI inspections as required.
• Complete paperwork as required.
• Use tablets or electronic devices as needed.
