Job summary
Republic Services is seeking a Driver Trainee in the United States to enroll in and complete a CDL training program, followed by advancement to a Driver role in Residential, Commercial, Industrial or Roll-Off. Trainees receive classroom and on-road instruction and access to a loaned truck to prepare for the CDL exam.
During the program you will learn vehicle inspections, route navigation, safety procedures, and how to service customers on your designated routes; after CDL, you will perform
Qualifications
- No prohibitions to acquiring a commercial drivers' license.
Responsibilities
- Complete CDL training program (classroom, on-road, and driving experience).
- Complete twelve months of employment after obtaining a CDL.
