Republic Services is offering a Driver Trainee program in the United States. Trainees will complete a rigorous CDL training program, including classroom study, on-route training, and access to a loaned truck to prepare for the CDL exam.

After obtaining a CDL, the employee moves to a Driver role across Residential, Commercial, Industrial, or Roll-Off lines of business. The program emphasizes safety, route discipline, and customer service, with a 12-month minimum employment period after CDL

Qualifications

• No prohibitions to acquiring a commercial drivers' license.

Responsibilities

• Complete CDL training program including classroom and on-route training.
• Drive and service routes after obtaining CDL, per company policy.
• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues.
• Operate heavy or commercial trucks per safety procedures to service customers.
