Job summary

Safety-Kleen in Kent, OH is seeking a Sales and Service Route Driver Trainee to train toward earning a Class B CDL. You will drive a box truck to service parts washer machines, pick up waste, and sell products within a defined route.

Training for Hazmat and safety compliance is provided as part of the role. Safety-Kleen is a subsidiary of Clean Harbors and a leader in environmental services across North America.

Qualifications

• Must possess Class B CDL and obtain Hazmat/Tanker endorsements within 90 days.
• Must pass background check, drug test and physical.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks and follow safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Train to drive a Class B box truck and service parts washer machines.
• Visit 10-12 customer sites per day.
• Switch out 15- and 30-gallon drums of solutions.
• Sell products/services and generate field leads.
• Operate safely under DOT and company guidelines.
