Kimble Companies in West Carrollton, OH, offers a CDL Trainee Program providing full tuition at an accredited school to earn a Class B license while gaining hands-on experience with our fleet. You will be trained and evaluated for potential positions within the transportation team.

Minimum qualifications include being 21+, pass a pre-employment drug screen, background, and MVR check, with the ability to perform physical duties with accommodations if needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues to Supervisors.
• Interact courteously with customers and ensure timely service.
• Notify Supervisor immediately of accidents, injuries or property damage.
• Maintain and update route sheets.
• Attend paid safety meetings, information sessions, and trainings.
• Assist with other routes to meet customer needs.
• Knowledge and Skills: Customer service oriented, professional, trustworthy.

Kickstart your career in the waste and recycling industry with our CDL Trainee Program. We are looking for motivated individuals ready to transition into a professional driving career. As a CDL Trainee, you will receive full-tuition at an accredited school to earn your Class B license while gaining hands-on experience with our fleet. The CDL trainee will be expected to acquire a Commercial Learners Permit (Class B) within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Perform pre-and post-trip inspection of the vehicle, and document/report any mechanical or safety issues to supervisors.
• Courteously interact with customers, both internal and external, ensuring customers are serviced in a professional and timely manner.
• Immediately notifies Supervisor of accidents, injuries, or property damage
• Maintains and updates route sheets
• Paid to attend scheduled safety meetings, information sessions, and trainings.
• Performs other duties assigned to by Supervisors such as assisting with other routes to meet customer needs
