Job summary

Farmers New Ag is seeking a truck driver to transport agronomy products and support the agronomy department. The role involves operating a truck with a tender hopper, loading/unloading fertilizer and ensuring safe, compliant operations.

Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, daily inspections, and exceptional customer service during peak seasons. A Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements is required, along with reliable attendance and safety-focused work habits.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
• Must be able to pass a D.O.T. physical every 2 years at a minimum.
• Understand the seasonality of the farm supply business and the in-season time commitment.
• Must be able to interact and effectively communicate with customers and individuals at all levels of the organization.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to move agronomy products to designated locations.
• Assist agronomy custom applicators in unloading fertilizer products.
• Perform or schedule repairs and preventative maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Complete daily truck/trailer inspections and maintain neat, clean work areas.
