Job summary

NEW Cooperative seeks a qualified delivery driver to transport agronomy products and support the agronomy department. You will drive trucks to locations, assist in unloading fertilizer, and uphold safety, DOT, and company policies.

Responsibilities include maintaining logs, performing basic vehicle maintenance, and supporting other location tasks as needed. A valid Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements is required, along with a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed and insurable to drive.
• Class A CDL required with tanker and HazMat endorsement.
• DOT physical every 2 years.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Ability to read and interpret safety and operating documents.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
• Effective communication with customers and team members.
• Good problem-solving and operating process understanding.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor-trailers to move agronomy products to designated locations.
• Assist agronomy staff in unloading fertilizer products.
• Adhere to DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform or schedule maintenance on equipment and vehicles.
• Complete daily driving logs and related documentation accurately.
• Remain flexible for extended hours during busy seasons.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and vehicle interiors.
