Job summary

Farmers New Ag is seeking a Transportation associate to move agronomy products, support the agronomy department, and provide customer service in a safe and efficient manner. You will drive trucks with tender hopper and other trailers to designated locations, assist custom applicators with unloading fertilizer, perform daily inspections, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Flexibility to work extended hours during busy seasons is required.

Qualifications

• Licensed and insurable to drive.
• Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsement.
• DOT physical every 2 years.
• High school diploma or GED with 1-3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Seasonal farm supply business with in-season time commitment.

Responsibilities

• Drive truck to move agronomy products to designated locations.
• Assist applicators in unloading fertilizer products.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance documentation.
• Maintain a neat, safe work area and follow safety policies.
• Work extended hours during busy seasons.
