Job summary

Genesis Energy, L.P. seeks a driver to operate an 18-wheel tractor/cargo tank and transport crude oil in Louisiana. The role requires adherence to DOT regulations and safety protocols.

You will perform valve operations, monitor volumes, complete tickets, and maintain logs while upholding company safety programs and DOT compliance. Qualified candidates must hold a valid class A CDL with Tank and HazMat endorsements (X) and be able to pass DOT medical and drug tests.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Tank and HazMat endorsements (X).
• Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English.
• Two plus years of verifiable tractor/semi-trailer driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate an 18-wheel tractor/cargo tank to transport crude oil safely.
• Open/close valves and gauge volumes to avoid overflow.
• Test product using on-board centrifuge and record results.
• Record volumes and load/unload activity for run tickets.
• Prepare Daily Driver Report and related paperwork.
• Inspect truck, tires, and tank for safety compliance.
• Actively participates in and promotes safety programs.
