Job summary

AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is hiring Transport Drivers to operate 11,400 gallon tankers, serving AmeriGas facilities across the region. You will conduct multiple pickups and deliveries daily, up to 14 hours, averaging ~500 miles per day, with safety prioritized.

The role requires a Class A CDL with tractor-trailer experience, tanker and hazmat endorsements, TWIC eligibility, and a clean driving record. AmeriGas offers benefits, sign-on, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with 3 years tractor-trailer experience (min 200,000 miles).
• 1 year tanker experience within the last 3 years preferred.
• HazMat and Tanker endorsements.
• TWIC eligibility.
• No accidents in the previous 3 years.
• No more than one moving violation in the previous 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive the tanker truck to pick up propane at the refinery and deliver to AmeriGas facilities; loading/unloading takes about 45 minutes.
• Attach terminal hoses to truck connections to pump propane into the tanker.
• Unload using hoses of two sizes stored on the truck.
• Perform twice daily truck inspections.
• May climb ladders to check gauges at bulk tanks.
