AmeriGas Propane, Inc. is hiring a Transport Driver to join a nationwide propane distribution network. You will operate tanker trucks, perform safety inspections, and ensure timely loading and unloading of propane.

The role requires a Class A CDL with tanker experience, Hazmat endorsement, TWIC, and a clean driving history. Benefits include a comprehensive package and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A with a minimum of 3 years tractor-trailer experience and 200,000 miles.
• 1 year tanker experience within the last 3 years is preferred.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements are required.
• TWIC eligibility.
• No accidents in the last 3 years and no more than one moving violation in the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive tanker truck to collect propane at the refinery and deliver to AmeriGas facilities; loading/unloading takes about 45 minutes.
• Attach terminal hoses to pump propane into the tanker.
• Unload using hoses stored on the truck, available in different sizes.
• Perform twice daily vehicle inspections.
• May climb ladders to check gauges on bulk tanks at facilities.
