Waste Pro USA Inc. Bayou Country, Louisiana is hiring swing drivers to operate a variety of refuse collection vehicles on pre-assigned routes, with supervision and safety checks. You will serve residential and commercial areas, collect garbage and recyclables, and support efficient route completion.

Qualifications

• Must hold Class A or B CDL valid for the state
• Requires 2 years of waste industry driving experience within the past 7 years
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Understand refuse collection policies, procedures, guidelines and DOT requirements for CMVs
• Able to speak and read English well enough to communicate with customers and coworkers

Responsabilités

• Safely drives truck on pre-established route to collect and dump garbage and refuse per route
• Oversees helpers on assigned routes and performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Manages customer interactions with courteous and expeditious service
• Unloads waste at landfill/transfer station and operates relevant equipment
• Completes required safety logs and reports per company procedures
• Adheres to DOT/state requirements for operating CMVs
• Assists other routes or events as needed
