Job summary

You will supervise helpers on routes, ensure DOT compliance, and interact with residents to provide courteous service. A valid Class A or B CDL and at least two years in the waste industry are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL required.
• Minimum 2 years of waste industry driving experience in the past 7 years.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must read and write English well enough to communicate with customers, co-workers, and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Safely drives truck on pre-established routes and dumps garbage, recyclables, or yard waste.
• Oversees helpers on assigned route and performs pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Keeps truck clean, inspects under hood, checks fluids and tires as per DOT guidelines.
• Maintains required reports and documents as mandated by company and regulations.
• Interacts with customers to provide courteous and efficient service and to address questions.
