Job summary

B&S Site Development is seeking a reliable Sweeper Truck Driver to operate a heavy-duty sweeper truck on roadways, private streets, parking lots, and construction sites. The role emphasizes safety, adherence to routes, and collaboration with field teams.

The ideal candidate will hold a valid DOT medical card, pass drug testing, and maintain logs and inspections. The position offers on-site work with flexible scheduling depending on project needs.

Qualifications

• Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate/DOT medical card.
• Ability to safely operate a commercial motor vehicle in construction environments.
• Ability to pass required drug and alcohol testing per DOT.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong safety focus and attention to detail.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a field team.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform physical requirements with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy-duty sweeper truck to remove dirt, debris, leaves, and other materials from roadways, parking lots, construction sites, and other areas.
• Perform sweeping operations efficiently according to routes and project requirements.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report safety or mechanical concerns.
• Ensure equipment, supplies, and materials are secured before operating.
• Monitor vehicle and equipment during operation for proper function.
• Report issues promptly to the supervisor.
• Follow routes, schedules, and site instructions from supervisors or dispatch.
• Coordinate with Route Supervisors, Project Managers, Foremen, and field personnel to support operations.
• Assist other drivers or field personnel as directed.
• Complete daily logs, tickets, inspection reports, mileage records, and documentation accurately.
• Maintain professional conduct when interacting with customers and colleagues.
• Attend safety meetings and training sessions.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety procedures.
