Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operates a large mechanized sanitation truck and/or other heavy equipment on assigned routes.
• Judges proper positioning and alignment of the truck; operates controls for swing, lift, bucket rotation, and grapple to collect waste.
• Loads brush and bulky waste as needed and directs disposal efficiently.
• Ensures legal load capacity and transports waste to landfill.
• Performs daily vehicle inspections and completes route sheets.
