Job summary

Metropolis Technologies, in collaboration with SP+, seeks a Shuttle Driver DOT to operate buses safely and transport passengers in the Miami area. You will be expected to deliver an exceptional client experience and comply with company safety standards.

The role requires a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement, DOT medical card, and the ability to work various shifts, including potential weekends. Uniforms and on-site duties are part of the position.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• License: Must have and maintain a valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver's License with Passenger Endorsement.
• DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
• Availability to Work: 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required depending on location needs.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Mathematical Skills: Basic arithmetic with dollars and currency.
• Appearance: Uniform required at all times.
• Physical Demands: Stand, walk, lift up to 75 pounds.
• Salary Range: $23.25 per hour

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional client and customer experience guided by SP+ Promise.
• Perform vehicle inspections and maintain bus cleanliness; fuel and log trips.
• Be punctual, in uniform, and available for scheduled days.
• Possess a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement; maintain DMV record.
• Report accidents or safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
• Assist customers with luggage and navigate garage areas.
• Support the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
