Job summary

SP+ in Beverly Hills is seeking a CDL Shuttle Driver responsible for safely operating shuttle buses and transporting passengers efficiently. You will ensure cleanliness and safety of the vehicles, assist customers with luggage, and maintain a positive experience for all riders.

The ideal candidate must possess a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement and a DOT Medical Card. This position may require third-shift availability and offers a competitive hourly wage, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Position: CDL Shuttle Driver (DOT)
• Salary Range: $24 - $26 per hour
• An SP+ Shuttle Driver DOT will be responsible for the proper and safe operation of shuttle buses and transporting passengers, making sure passengers get to their destination in an efficient, safe, and seamless manner.
• Goes above and beyond to deliver an exceptional client and customer experience that is guided by the SP+ Promise, including answering questions, offering city directions, and ensuring each customer interaction is a positive experience.
• Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts and assist disabled passengers.
• Be at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
• Possess a valid state‑issued driver’s license to carry on duty.
• Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
• Report known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
• Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to garage office.
• Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when necessary, if authorized.
• Have thorough knowledge of all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks and freeways to assist customers.
• Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items if applicable.
• Assist Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Education/Experience: Less than High School education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• License: Valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement (per DOT Regulations).
• DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
• Availability: Special shift requirements may vary; availability to work 3rd shift and/or week‑ends may be required.
• Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence; present information in one‑on‑one situations to customers and employees.
• Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract two‑digit numbers and multiply and divide with tens and hundreds, using units of American money.
• Appearance: Maintain a neat, clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
• Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb or balance; may lift or move up to 75 pounds.
