Job summary

SP+ is seeking an On Call CDL Shuttle Driver (DOT) to operate shuttle buses safely and transport passengers efficiently. The role requires a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement and a DOT Medical Card, with eligibility for 3rd shift and weekends depending on location.

You will engage customers, perform vehicle checks, and uphold SP+ service standards. The position offers comprehensive benefits and the opportunity to contribute to a large network across North America, supporting seamless parking

Qualifications

  • Flexibility to work 3rd shift and/or weekends as needed.
  • Maintain neat appearance and uniform at all times.
  • Must hold a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement per DOT.
  • Medical Certificate (DOT) required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional client experience guided by the SP+ Promise; assist with city directions.
  • Perform vehicle inspections, keep buses clean, refuel, log trips, assist disabled passengers.
  • Be punctual and in uniform for all scheduled shifts.
  • Carry a valid CDL with Passenger Endorsement at all times on duty.
  • Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
  • Report accidents, policy violations, safety hazards to the Facility Manager.
  • Communicate debris, spills, and hazards to the garage.
  • Substitute for Cashiers/Valets when authorized.
  • Know garage areas, major streets, landmarks, and freeways to assist customers.
  • Assist customers with luggage or travel items (airport shuttle as applicable).
  • Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Responsibilities

An SP+ Shuttle Driver DOT will be responsible for the proper and safe operation of shuttle buses and transporting passengers, making sure passengers get to their destination in an efficient, safe, and seamless manner.

What you’ll do

  • Goes above and beyond to deliver an exceptional client and customer experience that is guided by the SP+ Promise, including answering questions, offering city directions, and ensuring each customer interaction is a positive experience.
  • Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, refuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
  • Ensure you are at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.
  • Carry a valid state‑issued driver’s license at all times while on duty.
  • Maintain an acceptable DMV record.
  • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards, or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
  • Communicate debris, water, oil spills, etc. to the garage office.
  • Substitute for Cashiers or Valets when necessary, if authorized.
  • Have thorough knowledge of all garage areas, major streets, landmarks, and freeways near the garage to assist customers in a seamless transportation experience.
  • Assist customers with luggage and other travel items, when applicable (e.g., operating shuttle buses at an airport).
  • Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.
Qualifications

What you need

  • Education/Experience Required: Less than high school education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination.
  • License Requirement: Per DOT regulations, you must have and maintain a valid CDL Class A, B, or C driver’s license with a Passenger Endorsement.
  • DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
  • Availability to Work: Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on location’s hiring needs. Availability to work 3rd shift and/or week‑ends may be required.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; to write simple correspondence; to present information effectively in one‑on‑one situations to customers and employees.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, and multiply and divide two‑digit numbers and 10s and 100s, using units of American money.
  • Appearance: Maintain a neat, clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.
  • Physical Demands: Standing, walking, and using hands to handle cash and equipment are regular. Occasionally sit, climb, or balance. May be required to lift or move up to 75 pounds.

Salary Range: $26.50 per hour
