Heartland Coca-Cola Bottling Company, LLC (Coca-Cola UNITED) is seeking a Driver Shuttle Truck Jockey in Montgomery, AL. This role spots inbound and outbound trailers, ensures efficient loading and unloading, and supports production needs in a fast-paced environment.

You must meet age, licensing, and DOT medical requirements, with strong attendance and reliable communication essential. Weekend/holiday work may be required, and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21
• Class A CDL preferred and must comply with UNITED fleet policy
• Maintain DOT medical requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or 6+ months related experience or training
• Good MVR and solid attendance
• Ability to communicate with all parties
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays or flexible schedule

Responsibilities

• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of equipment
• Spot inbound/outbound trailers on/off the dock to ensure efficient loading/unloading
• Assist with daily production demands, transport loads, and related warehouse tasks
• Perform duties as assigned by management

Job Description

The Driver Shuttle Truck Jockey is a non touch freight position and is responsible handling the spotting of inbound or outbound trailers on and off the dock for Production and Warehouse, as needed.

What your day will look like:

• Responsible for pre-trip and post-trip inspection of equipment
• Daily Operation - Makes sure all dropped inbound or outbound trailers are spotted on or off the dock as needed to ensure efficient loading and unloading with no delays
• Assist depending on the daily production demands to run transport loads, work within the facilities doing warehouse work to fill his or her work for the day or week
• Performs appropriate duties as assigned by management

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum age of 21 years old
• Class A CDL license Preferred and the obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
• Ability to maintain DOT physical requirements
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6+ months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Driver must have good communication skills to communicate with all parties
• Good work record, Good attendance, Dependable with a good attitude, Good safety record, Ability to receive and follow instructions, Ability to work well and get along with other employees and/or customers, In the event of drivers to have a good MVR
• Ability to demonstrate customer service, initiative, teamwork, and technical skills
• Ability to work safely and securely
• Ability to use dolly 50 times per shift
• Ability to enter and exit cab of tractor an average of 100 times daily
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
