Job summary

Coca-Cola UNITED is seeking a Driver Shuttle RIF to move finished goods from the plant and raw materials from the warehouse in a non-touch operation. The role emphasizes on-time deliveries, proper paperwork, and maintaining trailers and equipment.

Applicants must have a Class A CDL, be at least 21 years old, and able to read and speak English. Regular attendance, safety compliance, and teamwork are essential, with potential weekend work and occasional road assignments.

Responsibilities

• Pull finished goods from the production plant and raw materials from the warehouse.
• Ensure loads are picked up with no delays.
• Keep trailers in place for plant and warehouse operations.
• Deliver finished goods and raw materials on time.
• Complete paperwork and bills of lading accurately.
• Seal loads and maintain daily inspection sheets for tractors/trailers.
• Report issues to supervision; may work in the warehouse as needed.
• Occasional Over the Road driving.

Job Description

The Driver Shuttle RIF is a non touch freight position and is responsible for pulling finished goods from the production plant and raw materials from the warehouse to the plant.

What your day will look like:

• Ensure all loads are picked up from the plant as they are loaded with no delays
• Responsible that all trailers are always in place for both the plant and the warehouse for successful startups and shutdowns
• Responsible for all deliveries for finished goods and raw materials are on time
• Ensure all paperwork and bills of lading are filled out correctly before pulling the loads
• Ensure all loads either going in or out of the plant are sealed
• Fills out and maintains daily inspection sheet for our shuttle tractors/trailers and notifies Service
• Department, Supervisors, and or the Facility Manager of any problems
• Works in a productive manner with peers, management, and the customer to achieve facility productivity goals (12-14 loads pulled per shift, per driver)
• Reports lack of work and or any production issues immediately to the supervisor and understands they will be expected to work in the warehouse as needed to maintain productivity for both the shuttle and warehouse
• Occasional Over the Road driving

What you need to succeed:

• Minimum 21 years old
• Class A Commercial Driver’s License required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with UNITED safety policies
• Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company provided resources and technology
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 6+ months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Ability to work safely and securely
• Ability to receive and follow instructions
• Ability to demonstrate teamwork, problem solving, interpersonal, and analytical skills
• Ability to use dolly up and down 50 times per shift
• Ability to enter and exit cab of tractor an average of 100 times daily
• Willingness to work weekends, holidays, or flexible schedule as required

Physical Requirements

Position will be required to comply with the CCBCU Personal Protective Equipment Program. Position is required to wear safety toed shoes when performing the following tasks: Operating Powered Industrial Equipment or Working in an Area where Powered Industrial Equipment is in use, Fleet Maintenance, Working with Palletized Product, Use of Hand Trucks/Dollies to Deliver Product, Cooler Services, etc.
