SafeLink Transit LLC in Elk Grove, CA is seeking a reliable Shuttle/Bus Driver to provide safe, dependable transportation to passengers daily. You will operate shuttle buses along designated routes, perform pre-trip inspections, and ensure safety compliance while delivering excellent customer service.

The role requires a CDL with Passenger endorsement, a clean driving record, and passing a DOT physical and background check.

Qualifications

Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger (P) endorsement.
Clean driving record with no major violations.
Previous experience operating shuttle buses, transit vehicles, or passenger transport.
Strong knowledge of Elk Grove and surrounding Sacramento area roadways.
DOT physical, drug screening, and background check required.
Excellent customer service skills and a professional, courteous demeanor.
Punctual and dependable with commitment to passenger safety.

Responsibilities

Safely operate shuttle buses and passenger vehicles along designated routes.
Transport passengers to and from scheduled stops in a timely and professional manner.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
Assist passengers with boarding, seating, and securing mobility devices as needed.
Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and incident reports.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal traffic laws and transit regulations.
Communicate with dispatch and supervisors regarding route updates or issues.
