Job summary

American Septic & Sewer, a division of American Rooter & Drain in Caldwell, ID, is hiring a CDL Septic Pump Truck Driver on a full-time plus flex schedule. You will drive a septic vacuum truck on residential and commercial calls, perform pumping and inspections, and document findings for customers.

We offer pay $24-$32 per hour DOE, bonuses, a well-maintained truck, year-round work, and benefits after 60 days with PTO after 1 year. Training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with tanker endorsement and no air brake or automatic-only restriction.
• Current DOT medical card and a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Experience driving a manual transmission with high/low range.
• Comfort with physical, outdoor work in all weather.
• Septic or vacuum truck experience preferred; we will train the right CDL driver.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate a septic vacuum truck on residential and commercial calls.
• Locate, uncover, pump and inspect septic tanks, then haul to approved disposal sites.
• Explain to customers what you found and what their system needs.
• Keep the truck clean, inspected and road-ready.

What you'll do

What you need
