American Rooter & Drain is hiring a CDL Septic Pump Truck Driver in Caldwell, ID. The role includes operating a septic vacuum truck on residential and commercial calls, pumping tanks, and conveying findings to customers. Training is available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with tanker endorsement preferred.
• Current DOT medical card is required.
• Background check and drug screen are mandatory.
• Experience driving a manual transmission is expected.
• Able to perform physical outdoor work in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Operate a septic vacuum truck on residential and commercial calls.
• Locate and pump septic tanks and haul waste to disposal sites.
• Explain findings and required system improvements to customers.
• Maintain truck cleanliness, inspections, and readiness for service.

What you'll do

• Drive and operate a septic vacuum truck on residential and commercial calls
• Locate, uncover, pump and inspect septic tanks, then haul to approved disposal sites
• Explain to customers what you found and what their system needs
• Keep the truck clean, inspected and road-ready

What you need

• Valid CDL, Class B or higher, with tanker (N) endorsement and no air brake or automatic-only restriction
• Current DOT medical card and a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a DOT pre-employment drug screen and background check
• Experience driving a manual transmission with high/low range
• Comfort with physical, outdoor work in all weather
• Septic or vacuum truck experience preferred; we will train the right CDL driver
