Job summary

Airgas is hiring a CDL B driver in Greenville, SC to support daily deliveries of gas cylinders and related supplies. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and customer service while performing routine inspections and handling loading/unloading tasks.

The position offers a consistent 40-hour week with potential overtime, benefits, and a 401(k) plan. Training and start-up support are provided to ensure compliance with Hazmat and Airbrake requirements.

Qualifications

• CDL with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements required.
• Valid driver’s license and medical card.
• No more than two traffic convictions or at-fault accidents in last 3 years.
• 1 year of CDL driving experience in last 5 years or certificate of completion from trucking school within last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload the truck daily with cylinders and supplies.
• Deliver on customer property sites using a hand cart; move frequently.
• Maintain courteous, professional relationships with customers.
• Support deliveries in a timely and safe manner.
• Safely secure and unsecure gas cylinders as required.
