Job summary

Airgas, Inc. in Savannah, GA is hiring a Local CDL B Driver to deliver compressed gas cylinders from Airgas branches to local and regional customers. You will load/unload, perform vehicle inspections, and maintain safe handling of cylinders while building strong customer relationships.

The role features a regular Mon-Fri schedule with a 6-7am start, home daily, and benefits including a comprehensive package, 401(k) with match, and paid time off after 30 days. Hazmat endorsement is required.

Qualifications

• Hazmat endorsement required; candidates must obtain within 60 days from hire date.
• Class B CDL with HAZMAT and Airbrake endorsements.
• Maintain valid driver's license, medical card and endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload cylinders and related supplies.
• Deliver to local and regional customers; build professional relationships.
