Airgas in Dothan, AL is hiring a CDL B Route Driver to safely deliver compressed gas cylinders to local customers. The role includes loading, unloading, pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and building professional relationships with customers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Airbrake endorsements.
• Hazmat is REQUIRED; candidates must currently have Hazmat.
• Maintain valid driver’s license, medical card and endorsements.
• No more than two traffic convictions or two at-fault accidents in 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Load and unload the truck daily with gas cylinders, Dewars and supplies.
• Deliver to local/regional customers from Airgas branch or plant.
• Build courteous and professional relationships with customers.
• Safely secure and unsecure cylinders and complete deliveries on customer sites.
