Job summary

HP Hood is seeking a Route Driver in the Portland, ME area. You will need a current CDL-A, a clean MVR, a valid medical card, and at least one year of driving experience (or equivalent coursework).

The role requires representing the company professionally, maintaining logs, and delivering products on schedule. The position offers a 4-day work week with rotating days off and coverage across Portland ME and surrounding area.

Qualifications

• Reading and writing proficiency in English.
• Ability to identify colors.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle safely and in compliance with regulations.
• Know the delivery route and product handling requirements.
• Represent HP Hood in a courteous, professional manner.
• Maintain vehicle operation logs and report maintenance as required by DOT/DOT rules.
• Deliver products timely and report improvement or issues daily.
• Keep daily records of accounts and cash collected.
• Work independently while supporting the Distribution Department.
• Collaborate with managers, supervisors, and peers.
