Job summary

HP Hood LLC seeks a Conventional Driver with a current CDL, clean MVR and a valid medical card to support deliveries in the Metro Boston area from Concord, NH. Expect a 4-day work week with two rotating days off and off Sundays.

Must pass a DOT exam, have one year of driving experience or equivalent, and maintain logs and records daily. Professional conduct and safety are emphasized, with strong teamwork and independent work capability.

Qualifications

• CDL is required with a satisfactory MVR and a valid medical card.
• One year driving experience or equivalent classroom qualification.
• Neat appearance and ability to pass a DOT exam.
• Reading and writing proficiency (English) and ability to identify colors.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently with little supervision.

Responsibilities

• Operate the company vehicle safely while complying with all regulations.
• Know the assigned delivery route and product handling requirements.
• Represent the company in a courteous, ethical and professional manner.
• Maintain a vehicle operation log and report maintenance or problems daily.
• Deliver products timely and report improvements or issues to supervisor daily.
• Keep accurate daily records of accounts and cash collected.
• Work independently while supporting the Distribution Department.
• Collaborate with managers, supervisors and peers.
