Job summary

HP Hood in Massachusetts is seeking a Route Driver with a current CDL to join our distribution team. This role requires a clean DOT record, up-to-date medical card, and at least one year of driving experience, with a 2 AM start and a 4-day rotating route.

You will be responsible for safe vehicle operation, route familiarity, timely deliveries, accurate logs, customer service, and adherence to safety policies. The position offers benefits and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• CDL valid and clean MVR; up-to-date medical card.
• One year of driving experience or equivalent classroom qualification.
• Ability to read and write in English; color identification.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate the company vehicle in compliance with regulations.
• Know assigned delivery route and product handling requirements.
• Represent the company professionally and courteously.
• Maintain daily logs and report maintenance or problems per DOT.
• Deliver products timely and communicate improvements or issues to supervisor daily.
• Keep daily accounts and cash records accurately.
• Work independently while supporting the Distribution Department.
• Collaborate with managers, supervisors and peers; follow all safety policies.
• Complete duties with minimal supervision and maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
