Job summary

HP Hood LLC is seeking a Conventional Route Driver with a current CDL-A and a clean MVR to join our distribution team. The role requires a DOT medical card, a year of driving experience or equivalent, and the ability to pass a DOT exam.

The schedule features a 4-day work week with Sat/Sun off and one rotating day off, emphasizing safe operation and accurate records of deliveries and cash handling.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Current, valid CDL-A license.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to drive a standard truck.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicle safely and comply with all regulations.
• Know delivery routes and product handling requirements.
• Represent HP Hood LLC in a courteous, ethical manner.
• Maintain vehicle operation logs and report maintenance needs.
• Deliver products timely and inform supervisor of improvements or issues.
• Keep daily records of accounts and cash collections.
• Work independently while supporting the Distribution department.
• Collaborate with managers, supervisors and peers.
