Job summary

Rumpke Waste & Recycling in Medora, IN is seeking a Roll Off Driver to service customers by hauling waste and construction debris to disposal sites. You will deliver, remove, and haul roll-off containers on assigned routes and coordinate with dispatch to meet deadlines.

Candidates should have a valid Class B CDL, DOT Medical Card, and be at least 19 years old. Outdoor work, variable temperatures, and some nights/weekends are expected.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand a map or navigation system.
• Ability to drive manual transmission is preferred.
• General knowledge of the truck mechanics.
• Good written and verbal communication with customers and dispatch.
• Must read and speak English well enough for directions and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck safely to provide roll-off delivery/removal services.
• Maintain and update route sheets.
• Conduct daily pre/post-trip inspections and DVIR logs.
• Inspect containers and ensure load security to prevent spills.
• Interact professionally with customers and dispatch to fulfill orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
