Job summary

Lakeshore Recycling Systems in Indianapolis is seeking a Roll-Off Driver to service customer accounts and haul waste or recycling to disposal sites or plants.

You will replace containers, perform safety inspections, log driving data, and coordinate with Dispatch and Route Manager to keep routes efficient. A valid Class B CDL and a DOT medical card are required, with strong English communication and safety focus.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a valid Class B CDL.
• Must have a valid DOT medical card prior to hire.
• No DUI/OVI in last 5 years or 2 in last 10 years.
• No license suspensions in the last 2 years.
• Must read and speak English well enough to communicate.

Responsibilities

• Provide, replace and remove roll-off containers and dump materials at a disposal site or recycling center.
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
• Report unsafe situations or service-related issues to Route Manager or Dispatch.
• Maintain and update driver log sheets throughout the day.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Follow route assignments and complete end-of-day documentation and check out process.
• Assist other drivers as directed to meet customer needs.
