Job summary

Rumpke Waste and Recycling is seeking a Roll Off Driver to service customers and haul waste or recycling material to disposal sites. The role requires safe operation, regular route driving, and professional customer interaction.

Qualifications include a valid Class B CDL and DOT Medical Card, with 1–2 years of CDL experience preferred. Night and weekend shifts may be required; overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years CDL truck driving experience preferred.
• Waste industry experience, a plus.
• General knowledge of truck mechanics.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck in a safe manner in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and company policies.
• Routinely enter/exit truck multiple times day.
• Climb to hook/unhook containers, move items to secure load and tarps.
• Communicate with dispatch on additional work orders to ensure quality customer service.
• Maintain and update route and driver logs.
• Conduct pre-trip/post trip inspections and complete logs.
• Visually inspect roll off containers and ensure proper load securement to prevent loss of trash and debris.
• Maintain cleanliness of assigned truck and surroundings.
• Interact professionally with customers to provide excellent customer service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
