Job summary

Rumpke is seeking a Roll Off Driver to service customers with waste and recycling collection using roll-off containers. You will operate a truck, hook/unhook containers, and ensure load safety while communicating with dispatch and maintaining logs.

Qualified candidates have a valid Class B CDL, DOT Medical Card, and are at least 19 years old. Strong map skills, English fluency, and basic truck knowledge help ensure safe, reliable service.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid Class B CDL.
• Must have a DOT Medical Card or be able to obtain prior to hire.
• Must be at least 19 years of age.
• No more than 3 moving violations within the last 2 years.
• No DUI or OVI within the last 5 years, or 2 in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Operate truck in a safe manner in compliance with regulations and policies.
• Hook/unhook containers and secure loads for transport.
• Communicate with dispatch on additional work orders for quality service.
• Maintain route and driver log sheets.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and logs.
• Visually inspect roll-off containers and ensure load security.
• Clean around the compactor during service as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of the assigned truck.
• Interact professionally with customers to provide excellent service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
