Job summary

Qualifications

• Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete pre- and post-operation inspection of the vehicle to ensure tire pressure, fluids, safety equipment and controls are in proper working order.
• Safely operate the heavy truck along the designated route and service each customer per the route sheet or dispatcher instruction.
• Load refuse and operate the compactor, disposing of material at the designated facility.
• Interact with customers and dispatchers to ensure routes are serviced in a timely and professional manner.
• Identify unsatisfactory waste containers and tag containers as required and complete vehicle condition reports.
