Job summary

Republic Services, a leader in environmental services, is seeking a CDL-B Driver to safely operate a collection truck and provide courteous waste removal services. You will ensure vehicle compliance with safety standards and complete daily vehicle condition reports.

The role requires hands-on driving, on-time route service, and accurate completion of reports, with a focus on safety and customer satisfaction in a local Virginia market.

Qualifications

• Class B or higher CDL with air brakes endorsement required.
• Demonstrated safety-conscious driving and adherence to regulations.
• Proven ability to interact professionally with customers and dispatchers.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections.
• Safely operate the truck on assigned routes and service customers.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of materials.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers and coworkers.
• Complete required reports and route/productivity sheets.
