Job summary

Republic Services seeks a Driver – CDL (B) to safely operate a collection truck on its route, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, and provide courteous waste removal services to customers in Baton Rouge. You will follow safety policies, complete VCRs, and report any vehicle issues to keep equipment in top condition.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Class B or higher Commercial Driver’s license with air brakes endorsement.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
• Safely operate the collection truck on designated routes and service customers on time.
• Load refuse, operate the compactor, and dispose of materials at designated facilities.
• Provide courteous customer service and communicate effectively with dispatch and customers.
• Complete required reports and maintain productivity standards.
