Job summary

Amwaste is seeking a Roll-Off Driver to operate heavy-duty trucks delivering waste collection services along designated routes and engaging with customers to support community service goals.

The role emphasizes safe driving, precise container handling, pre/post-trip inspections, and collaboration with Route Managers to optimize routes. A valid CDL Class B license, medical card, and eligibility to work in the United States are required.

Qualifications

• Be 21 years of age or older
• Have an acceptable driving record
• Have a valid CDL class B license
• Have a valid Medical Card
• Legally eligible to work in the United States

Responsibilities

• Operates waste collection trucks in accordance with safety and regulatory requirements
• Performs pre- and post-trip inspections and documents checks
• Backs up and positions containers on customer property
• Navigates routes including driveways, alleys, and busy roads
• Reports incidents and service interruptions to Route Manager or Dispatch
• Coordinates with Route Managers to improve route efficiency
