Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC seeks a dedicated CDL Class B driver in Daytona Beach, FL to safely operate waste collection vehicles and service residential routes. You will perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain vehicle readiness, and complete route paperwork with accuracy.

Responsibilities include courteous interaction with customers and dispatchers, adherence to DOT regulations, and active participation in safety programs.

Qualifications

• Garbage/Recycling experience is preferred.
• Must have a Class B CDL.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Able to lift or carry heavy objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre/post-operation checks on commercial vehicles to ensure tire pressure, fluids, safety devices, and gauges are in correct operating condition.
• Safely operate vehicles on assigned residential routes including roads and alleys.
• Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service.
• Monitor vehicle status to minimize downtime and maintain readiness.

It's fun to work in a company where people truly BELIEVE in what they're doing!We're committed to bringing passion and customer focus to the business.Position Summary:The driver position is responsible for safely operating a commercial motor vehicle and providing prompt and complete collection services.Primary Duties and Responsibilities:Completes a pre/post-operation check of a commercial vehicle in line with FCC regulations to verify tire pressure, fluid levels, safety devices, gauges, and other components are in correct operating condition.Ensure commercial vehicles are safely operated on allocated routes that encompass roads, residential neighborhoods, and alleys.Ability to manually and/or automate controls and joystick equipment in compliance with the FCC's safety regulations and procedures.Engage courteously with co-workers, dispatchers, and customers to ensure that all services are performed in a timely and professional way.Continuously monitors the vehicle's status to ensure it remains operationally ready in order to reduce downtime.Completes necessary paperwork and other reports accurately.Maintains departmental productivity standards to ensure all clients are serviced in a timely and effective way.Follows and enforces all safety regulations and procedures.Experience and Competencies:Garbage/Recycling experience preferredClass B commercial driver’s licenseAbility to lift or carry heavy objects as necessaryMust meet all qualifications as defined under Department of Transportation regulationsClearinghouse profile requiredFCC is a drug-free workplace.
